Water flossers

Waterpik Ultra Professional countertop water flosser

By Waterpik

Waterpik's countertop model with the widest range of settings and tips. A water flosser can make cleaning around braces, bridges and implants easier, but the Oral Health Foundation describes it as an extra – not a replacement for brushing and interdental cleaning.

Can be useful for

A product can support daily care but can’t treat a dental problem on its own. See a dentist if symptoms persist.

Choosing water flossers

  • Decide between countertop (larger reservoir, more settings) and cordless (portable, easier to store).
  • Look for adjustable pressure so you can start gently.
  • Check which tips are included – orthodontic and implant tips are useful if you need them.
  • Keep brushing twice a day and using floss or interdental brushes as your dental team advises.
